I have over 20yrs of experience, I started my training through Minneapolis School of Massage and Bodywork LLC. I took my detailed training and added more to it as I have worked alongside many different professionals and I've learned from them all as well. I worked with Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, Herbalists, Personal Trainers, Yoga Instructors, and Massage Therapists. From my experience it honestly takes a village to help the body recover and heal. I'm grateful that Aileen found me and reached out to offer me the room in her beautiful studio. In my conversations with her I quickly learned that our philosophies are very similar with the goal to help our clients in the most effective and efficient way while being transparent and honest. Her style of Personal Training is very different as my approach to the body is very different then most bodyworkers.
I'm trained in:
Sports
Deep Tissue
Connective tissue/Fascia/lymphatic (many names for the same things)
Relaxations
Trigger Points
Pressure Points
Pre/Post Natal
Myofascial (John Barns)
Cranial Sacral
Cupping Therapy
I'm also trained in Reiki, Sound Healing, and Aromatherapy to add to the energetics side of things.
I can mix any and all into a session, I like to cater to your specific needs as it's your time. During my training on my second day of school my instructor said you can offer these modalities separately or blend them all together to give the body what it needs. I LOVED that idea and that is exactly what I do. I listen to your request and to the body and make sure my communication with you is clear and you receive what you want.
I don't sell, I educate you on how the body functions and how to understand your body to help you get back to doing the things you enjoy.
